Mail Queue Connection Problems... Strange

Hey there,

Let me give a little backround on my set up before I get into the problem.
I am running the latest version of kayako, I think it is 4.74.0 or something like that. It is running on a CentOS 7 server with Apache 2.4.26 . I am trying to set up the Mail Queue to fetch e-mail from an Exchange 2016 server.

I have already set up the default e-mail and default reply e-mail address and confirmed that it does indeed work and sends e-mails as expected when replying to submitted tickets.

I am currently on 4.69.0 and cannot upgrade due to the latest MySQL requirements.

Running: PHP Version 5.6.23 and 5.0.11.

I am on a leased server where I have a lot of leeway on what can be done with PHP and MySQL.

My hosting company which manages the server and also hosts their shopping cart application tell me the following:

I am about to upgrade Kayako Classic/Download on our Windows 2008 R2 server with IIS 7.5. The new version of Kayako has a security update we need.

Before I upgrade, I have a few questions:

1. Under the So, what's recommended? heading on the Server Requirements page, it says "We recommend 5.5 as it is the latest tested version". But PHP 5.6 has been out for years, so...

Hi,

I have yesterday upgrade and now when i want to see history mails from users then i see a header and blank page.

I get the follow error.

I am trying to upgrade to the latest version but something is going wrong. During the upgrade I am getting an error/s :

I am upgrading from 4.68 and all the System Requirements were showing Green OK icons during the upgrade. I have followed all the instructions in the upgrade guide (https://kayako.atlassian.net/wiki/display/DOCS/Upgrading your helpdesk) and have upgrade many times before with no problem (other versions). We are looking to have a custom field be added to the General Tickets Properties bar (green bar when viewing ticket). We are trying to speed up productivity but have required custom fields in the EDIT tab that need to be filled in before submitting a response or closing a ticket. We are looking to add a custom field onto the green General Ticket Properties bar to allow users to navigate to only one page instead of the EDIT page and then back to General or reply tab.

I have installed kayako 4.70.0 on an AWS ec2 "medium" elastic compute node. I've installed "stock" RedHat RHEL 7.1 and then apache2 and php from Amazon's yum repositories. The database is a mysql RDS instance. I've installed xcache, but turned it off for now.

We have a database of approximately 50 tickets. As we browse tickets, the machine very quickly becomes sluggish and grinds to a halt. We see "too many files open" in the apache error log. It would appear that many open sockets are not...

I upgraded to version 4.75 of download and just tried to install the latest version of Custom Tweaks and it says it does not work with v4.75, only 4.73.

Running through the upgrade process fails at what appears to be the template stage.
The page just goes blank aside from the top black bar.

The log file shows the following.

Any ideas what is causing it or how to rectify before I decide to revert.

Hi

I am attempting an upgrade from 4.64.1 to 4.75 and everything is good except it just stops doing anything on the localization screen.

I have a perfect php.ini file, no errors during the install, I cleared out the swsearch database tables as that could be huge and be slowing it down. I've deleted all the old installation files and replaced with a new, verified 4.75 installation upload folder...

I can't run php console commands directly on the web server.. How can I tell what's wrong!?...

In the function GetIMAPArgument, you'll notice the TLS arguments return the SSL options, not TLS options. This means that while you may have been selecting TLS as your IMAP/POP3 security, kayako was actually using SSL.

This fix needs to happen if you wish to use an Office 365 Exchange Online based email.

I also noticed that while the documentation says to use TLS on port 995 for outlook.office365.com, port 995 doesn't seem to work...

Unable to send outbound mail using Office 365

The helpdesk is unable to send mail out. I have configured these settings.

I have changed the password of the account from the default password. No luck. The account can send and receive email from the outlook app using these credentials so the account is good. Now sure what else is wrong here. Need some assistance please.

Custom Fields in E-mail notifications

Hi everybody.

I've created a new custom field (Order number), it works fine when user submits a ticket on the site and displays fine in the helpdesk.

But in the e-mail notification there is no sign of it, so you can't really tell what's ORDER number is unless you open up helpdesk and check there.

How can I do proper integration of custom field into email notifications sent to user & staff ?
